Dr. Michael X. Rohan

For Dr. Mike Rohan, a love of medicine is in the blood! As the son and grandson of successful orthopedic surgeons, and a fourth generation physician, this Florida native developed an early fascination for his chosen profession, as well as a strong desire to carry on the family business.

His skill and determination lead him to the University of Florida, Gainesville, where he completed his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and then on to Nova Southeastern University, outside of Miami, for his medical school training.

Dr. Rohan went on to serve his internship and surgical residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - School of Osteopathic Medicine, and at the A. I. DuPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware. In 2005, UMDNJ-SOM appointed him Chief Resident for Orthopedic Surgery for the Kennedy Memorial Hospitals - University Medical Center, and Cooper University Hospital.

In 2006, Dr. Rohan served as the distinguished Spine Surgery Fellow at the prestigious Texas Back Institute in Plano, Texas, under internationally renowned spinal surgeons Richard Guyer, MD, Jack Zigler, MD, and Scott Blumenthal, MD.
